Delete your
account

Updated 25 September 2026

Subcharge is a subscription, bill, card, expense and budget tracker for iOS and Android, made by Aier Labs. This page explains how to delete your Subcharge account and the data tied to it, what is deleted, and what is kept.

Email a deletion request

01

Delete it in the app

The quickest way. Open Subcharge, signed in to the account you want to delete, and go to:

More › Profile › Danger zone › Delete your account

  1. Tap More in the tab bar.
  2. Tap Profile.
  3. Tap Danger zone.
  4. Tap Delete your account and follow the prompts to confirm.

Your account and its data are deleted from our servers straight away, the app erases the same data from that phone and signs you out, and we send a confirmation to the email address on the account. This cannot be undone.

02

Ask us by email

If you cannot open the app (you uninstalled it, lost your phone, or cannot sign in), email us and we will delete the account for you.

Write to subcharge@aierlabs.com with the subject "Delete my Subcharge account", and include:

  • The email address you sign in to Subcharge with (sending from that address is the simplest proof it is yours), or
  • Your member ID, which starts with SCRG (for example, SCRG10001). It is shown in the app under More › Profile.

We may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it, so we never delete someone else's account. We usually take care of it within a few days, and you receive the same confirmation email.

03

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes, from our servers:

  • Your account: email address, display name, member ID and sign-in connections (Google, Apple or email code)
  • Subscriptions and bills, and their payment history
  • Expenses, transfers and budgets
  • Accounts you added, and categories you created
  • Card metadata (last 4 digits, bank, nickname, network and billing dates)
  • Your end-to-end encrypted card vault (card numbers and CVVs)
  • Documents you attached (photos and PDFs)
  • Data exports you requested, and their download links
  • Detected items, and your private forwarding address for receipts
  • Settings, such as your currency and display name
  • Sessions and signed-in devices
  • Your Pro entitlement record on our servers
  • Records of the reminder and summary emails we sent you
04

What may be kept

A Subcharge Pro subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel it in the store you bought it from: on iPhone, in Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on Android, in Google Play › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions.

Some records are held outside our database and are not removed when you delete your account:

  • Purchase records. Apple, Google and RevenueCat (the service that processes our in-app purchases) keep their own records of a Pro purchase, under their own policies.
  • Analytics. Usage and error events already sent to Mixpanel stay there under your member ID. They never contain amounts, balances or card numbers.
  • Advertising measurement. Install, sign-up, trial and subscription events already sent to Meta are held by Meta under its own policy.
  • Messages to us. Feedback and support emails you sent stay in our mailbox.
  • Your own copies. Backups in your own iCloud or Google Drive are under your control. Deleting in the app turns automatic backup off but does not remove a backup already saved; remove it from your iCloud or Google Drive storage settings. If you asked us by email instead, the data on your phone also stays until you delete the app.

How long these are kept is described in the Subcharge Privacy Policy (subcharge.aierlabs.com/privacy). To ask for any of them to be removed as well, email subcharge@aierlabs.com.

05

Delete some data, keep the account

You do not have to delete your account to remove data. Deleting a subscription, expense, budget, account, category or card in the app removes it from our servers too, on every device you sign in on.

You can also download a copy of your data first, from More › Profile, under Personal data and privacy.
